Learn why you do not need to lose your money to get bonus bets. A lot of people assume that the accumulation of bonus bets comes as a result of losing money first. For gamblers, it almost always does. For matched bettors, it definitely doesn't. In fact, not only can matched bettors get bonuses without losing a cent or by losing very little but how they use bonuses compared to a gambler is where the double whammy hits. Gamblers almost always try to throw their bonuses on high odds, big payouts, multis, same game multis, trifectas etc etc. Matched bettors see bonuses like free money. The difference in how bonuses are used and acquired can legitimately be hundreds of thousands of dollars over a 5 -10 year period. Bookies value bonuses at a 12% loss to their company.
